Designed especially for the off-road novice up to intermediate, our guide will take you on a true tour of discovery. From easy going winding lanes through olive groves to rocky climbs and water crossings, this tour has everything you could dream of in an off-road motocycling holiday.

Our guide will help you get to grips with anything that you need to know and the pace will be dictated by you. There is absolutely no pressure on this tour and the difficulty can be tailored to your groups ability. On our midweek tours you can even have the option of reserving the tour for you and your group of friends!

ABOUT THE TOUR

Your tour will begin with a safety briefing and an introduction to the Honda CRF230F, a user friendly trailbike with a low seat height and predictable power delivery - absolutely ideal for all abilities of rider.

The adventure starts with some easy winding lanes and a visit to an off-road area where you will be able to get a feel for the bikes before progressing on to something a little more demanding. There are plenty of challenges to satisfy all but the most experienced off-road rider - if you wish to take them on. Of course the whole ethos of this tour is about fun and you will never be forced in to tackling anything that you feel uncomfortable with.

ABOUT THE TERRAIN

On a typical Explorer Tour, you will be taken through olive groves, up single track lanes, high into the surrounding mountain range, through river crossings and along picturesque pine tree lined avenues - the variation is simply unforgettable. There are literally hundreds of miles of trails to discover in this area of southern Spain.

STANDARD EXPLORER TOUR (MIDWEEK)

If you are already holidaying in Spain or have your accommodation organised and just wish to ride for a day or two, then this option is ideal. Of course we are more than happy to assist you if you wish to book a local B&B or require car hire but you will be required to pay for these services directly with the suppliers.

Each days riding includes the use of a Honda CRF230F, all riding equipment, third party road insurance, fuel lunch and a picture CD of all the action.

You can also take the option of having the guide exclusively for your party if you want a completely bespoke riding experience! Please see the pricing section for more details.

EXPLORER PLUS TOUR (WEEKENDS)

These superb value long weekend tours save you the inconvenience of organising your own accommodation and airport transfers and, unlike some other companies, we DO NOT offer a 'cut down' version of our usual Explorer Tours. You get the full monty with Andalucian Trail Tours! All you have to do is arrange your flights and we will do the rest for a weekend (or more) you will remember for the rest of your life!

Starting with your arrival on Friday, we will pick you up from the airport (unless you have made other arrangements) and take you to your accommodation. Your riding starts on the Saturday and can include as many days riding as you wish (minimum 2 days riding).

Accommodation - We only book QUALITY bed and breakfast accommodation for our valued customers.You will be based in Villanueva Del Trabuco, within easy distance of the starting point of the tour. Please see the 'Location' section of this website for further details.

Airport Transfers - From Malaga airport, you will have a choice of 2 pick-up times 12pm and 3pm. We advise that you arrange the earliest flight available from your UK airport on the Friday of your long weekend and book the latest returning flight on the day of your departure. Transfers include return travel to Malaga Airport and from your B&B in Villanueva Del Trabuco to the starting point of your tour if required.

If you book flight times outside the scope of our pick-up times it is still possible to arrange your transfers but this will be charged at 30 euros each way. If you book for a group of 4 or more it may also be possible for us to arrange transfers at your convenience. Of course you are welcome to arrange your own hire car if you prefer the freedom of your own transport. We would recommend Auriga Crown Car Hire as they are both very reasonably priced and the car can be picked up from Malaga airport For transfers from Granada airport, please call us for availability.

Riding Equipment - There is no need to bring any riding equipment with you as everything you need will be supplied, including all body armour. If you prefer to use any of your own clothing etc, then you are more than welcome to do so.

Lunch - On the days that you are riding with us we include a lunch stop in a restaurant or inn en route - no packed sandwich lunches on our tours!

Insurance - We ensure that you are legally insured on our motorcycles. Medical insurance is not included, but you will have basic cover with an EHIC card available from any post office or online by clicking here. We would advise that you use your own medical cover if required.

Picture CD - During your tour, our guide will be taking pictures when appropriate and you are more than welcome to a complimentary copy to show your friends back home just what they missed!
